This portal is the result of a joint collaboration between the GRIP and CRED and provides a central access point to worldwide existing disaster data collection initiatives

The portal has been designed in order to be user friendly. A specific user interface has been developed to allow the registered database manager to submit and update the disaster data collection initiative information dynamically.

DISDAT portal aims at facilitating the access to this valuable information by providing the international community with a centralised access to various disaster data compilation initiatives.

DISDAT is the result of a close collaboration between the Centre for research in Epidemiology of Disasters (CRED) and the Global Risk Identification Program (GRIP).
